Abstract

«My dear R., it is long since we have spoken. I am sending you a quick update, a little information and two recollections of journeys. Seven years of life without a director, for the Teatro tascabile di Bergamo, have proved as long as seventeen years with a director have been for other groups. We have worked hard: we have kept the old performances going. We have managed to create new ones – in the name of a “collective direction” and of a dead director. We continue to practise Indian dance. We continue to travel. And it is this that I wanted to tell you about, about our study-journey to Kerala in February 2012 and about a journey to Colombia immediately afterwards. Coming just after India, Colombia took on a particular aspect: the Indias beyond the sea. In order to recount them to you, I will start, naturally, from my first India, from Kerala».
